Rolex Price Guide 2026

Retail MSRP and pre-owned secondary market prices for every major Rolex collection — updated for 2026 market conditions. Buying or selling, this is what the numbers actually look like.

Retail prices shown are approximate MSRP at authorized dealers. Pre-owned ranges reflect current secondary market (Chrono24 sold listings, recent auction results, and our active buy/sell data). Prices change; contact us for a live quote on any specific reference. Pre-owned ranges assume excellent condition with original bracelet. Full box and papers typically adds 10–20%.

Understanding Rolex pricing requires understanding two separate markets: the authorized dealer market (retail, MSRP, often with wait lists) and the secondary market (pre-owned, immediate availability, market-driven pricing). For most of Rolex's sporting steel references in 2026, the secondary market is the primary reality — new pieces are simply not available without established dealer relationships.

Submariner Collection

Rolex's most iconic line. The Submariner's secondary market is the most liquid in all of luxury watches — it trades like a commodity, with tight bid/ask spreads and consistent demand at virtually any economic condition.

GMT-Master II Collection

The traveler's Rolex. The GMT is arguably the most wearable of Rolex's sport references — equally at home in a boardroom or a cockpit. The Pepsi and Batman variants command premiums over the Root Beer due to collector preference for bidirectional vs. directional reading.

ModelRetail (MSRP)Pre-Owned RangeAvailability

Daytona Collection

The most sought-after Rolex. The Daytona in steel is essentially unavailable through authorized dealers — the Cal. 4130 chronograph has been in demand since 2000 and production has never kept pace. Pre-owned steel Daytonas consistently trade above retail.

Datejust Collection

Rolex's most produced reference. The Datejust is available at authorized dealers without the extreme wait lists that plague sport models. Pre-owned Datejusts trade at modest discounts to retail — lower demand pressure than sporting references.

Rolex's flagship precious metal collection — available only in gold and platinum. The Day-Date has been the watch of choice for presidents, prime ministers, and executives since 1956. Secondary market is relatively stable — strong collector base and consistent demand.

2026 Market Context: The secondary market has fully normalized from the 2021–2022 speculative peak. Submariner prices that briefly touched $18,000 are now stable at $10,000–$13,500 for excellent examples. GMT "Pepsi" prices have settled at rational levels after correcting from $25,000+ peaks. This stabilization is good for genuine buyers — prices reflect real collector demand, not speculation. The opportunity for quality pre-owned purchases at fair prices is better now than at any point since 2019.
