Return Policy

Effective: January 1, 2025

Watch Affinity stands behind every timepiece we sell. We offer a 14-day return window from the date of purchase on all watches sold directly by Watch Affinity.

14-Day Return Window. Returns must be initiated within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date. Requests received after 14 days will not be accepted.

Condition Requirements

To qualify for a return, the watch must be returned in the same condition in which it was sold — what we call "original form." This means:

  • No new scratches, dents, or damage of any kind
  • All original box and papers (where provided at time of sale) must be included
  • All accompanying accessories, tags, and documentation sold with the watch must be returned
  • The watch must not have been sized, engraved, or altered in any way after purchase
  • Water resistance seals must remain uncompromised

Watches that show signs of wear, modification, or damage beyond what was disclosed at the time of sale will not be accepted for return. Watch Affinity reserves the right to inspect every returned item and decline the return if these conditions are not met.

How to Initiate a Return

Contact us within 14 days of purchase at info@watch-affinity.com or call (210) 983-0096. Include your name, purchase date, and the reason for the return. We will coordinate inspection and, if approved, process your refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Watches sold as-is or clearly noted as final sale at the time of purchase
  • Special orders and watches sourced at the client's specific request
  • Consignment pieces where the terms are set by the consignor
  • Watch straps, accessories, and service work

All sales on jewelry items are final unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of sale.

Watch Affinity Warranty

Effective: January 1, 2025

Every watch sold by Watch Affinity is backed by our one-year Watch Affinity Warranty, separate from and in addition to any remaining manufacturer's warranty that may accompany the timepiece.

1-Year Coverage. The Watch Affinity Warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and is non-transferable. It applies to the original purchaser only.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise under normal use — what the industry refers to as factory defects. Covered issues include:

  • Movement failure or malfunction not caused by external impact or misuse
  • Defective crown, pushers, or winding mechanism arising from manufacturing fault
  • Failure of the case back seal under normal non-submersion conditions
  • Dial or hand defects present at the time of sale or discovered within the warranty period

What Is Not Covered

The Watch Affinity Warranty does not cover damage caused by the owner or by circumstances outside of normal watch use. Excluded conditions include:

  • Physical damage — drops, impacts, scratches, dents, or broken crystals
  • Water damage resulting from improper use, submersion beyond rated depth, or compromised seals caused by the owner
  • Damage from unauthorized service, modification, or repair performed by any party other than Watch Affinity or an authorized service center
  • Normal wear and tear, including worn crown gaskets and aged leather straps
  • Battery depletion on quartz movements
  • Magnetic damage or damage from exposure to extreme temperature or chemicals
  • Cosmetic issues including surface scratches on the case, bracelet, or crystal acquired after purchase

Manufacturer's Warranty. Where a manufacturer's warranty card or documentation is included with a timepiece, that warranty is subject to the policies of the original manufacturer and is entirely separate from the Watch Affinity Warranty. We make no representations about the validity or transferability of any manufacturer's warranty on pre-owned watches.

Warranty Service

To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@watch-affinity.com or call (210) 983-0096 with your purchase information. All warranty repairs are performed by Watch Affinity or an authorized partner service center. Warranty repairs do not extend the original warranty period. We reserve the right to repair or replace a covered item at our discretion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — every timepiece we sell has been authenticated by our team before it is listed or offered to any client. We do not sell watches we cannot verify. If you have any questions about a specific piece, we're happy to walk you through the authentication process in person.

Yes. We purchase watches directly in addition to offering trade-in credit. The offer will depend on the specific reference, condition, and current market. Submit your watch through our Sell & Trade page or bring it in for an in-person appraisal.
Yes, we ship to clients across the United States. All watches are fully insured and shipped via secure carrier. Shipping details, costs, and timelines are discussed at the time of sale. Contact us to arrange shipping for your purchase.
Turnaround time varies depending on the type of service and parts availability. Standard servicing typically takes 2–6 weeks. Complex restorations or manufacturer-required service may take longer. We provide a timeline estimate at intake and keep you updated throughout the process. Tourbillon and Perpetual tier members receive priority scheduling.
You can request an appointment through our Contact page, by calling (210) 983-0096, or by texting us at the same number. After-hours private showroom appointments are available to Collector's Circle members.
The Calibre tier is free and activates automatically on your first purchase. Complication and Tourbillon tiers can be joined immediately via annual membership subscription through our Member Tiers page, or earned by reaching the corresponding lifetime spend threshold. Perpetual is by invitation only.
Affinity Credits can be applied toward any acquisition or service. However, the birthday privilege discount is a standalone benefit — it cannot be combined with a trade-in value, Affinity Credits, or any other promotion on the same transaction. Credits themselves may be stacked with referral rewards only.

Independent Reseller — No Brand Affiliation

Watch Affinity is an independent watch reseller. We are not an authorized dealer, official retailer, or affiliated distributor of any watch brand, manufacturer, or maison whose products appear on this website or in our inventory — including but not limited to Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Cartier, IWC, Omega, or any other brand. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to any of these brands. All brand names, trademarks, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely for the purpose of accurately describing the timepieces we sell.

Watch Affinity operates as an independent secondary-market reseller of new and pre-owned luxury timepieces. Watches in our inventory are acquired through private sales, trade-ins, estate acquisitions, and other secondary-market channels — not through authorized brand distribution networks.

Pre-Owned & New Inventory Disclaimer

Watch Affinity carries both new and pre-owned luxury timepieces. Condition and provenance are disclosed at the time of sale. Pre-owned watches may show signs of prior wear consistent with their age and use history. Watch Affinity authenticates all inventory but makes no representation that any pre-owned watch retains its original manufacturer's warranty unless specifically stated and documented at time of sale. New old stock (NOS) or unworn pieces are described accurately based on our assessment at time of acquisition.

Intellectual Property

All original content on this website — including text, photography, and design — is the property of Watch Affinity or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Brand names, logos, and trademarks of watch manufacturers referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for product identification purposes only. Their use does not imply any affiliation, authorization, endorsement, or sponsorship.

Limitation of Liability

Watch Affinity's liability for any claim arising from a purchase or the use of this website is limited to the purchase price of the item in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind. This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind beyond what is expressly stated in our warranty policy above.

Changes to These Terms

Watch Affinity reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. All disputes are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, with exclusive jurisdiction in Bexar County.

Watch Affinity respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

  • Contact information you provide voluntarily — name, email address, phone number, and message content — when you submit a form on our website (contact, repair request, sell & trade, newsletter).
  • Purchase and account information when you make a purchase in-store or create a member account, including transaction history and tier status.
  • Usage data collected automatically when you visit our website — pages viewed, time spent, browser type, and general location. This is collected via Google Analytics and is used in aggregate, anonymized form.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiries, service requests, and form submissions
  • To process purchases and manage your Collector's Circle membership and Affinity Credits
  • To send transactional communications related to your account or purchase
  • To send newsletters or promotional communications you have opted into (you may unsubscribe at any time)
  • To understand how our website is used so we can improve it

Information Sharing

Watch Affinity does not sell your personal information. We may share your information with service providers who assist in operating our business (email delivery, payment processing, website hosting) under confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information where required by law.

Payment Security

Watch Affinity uses Stripe for payment processing. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. All payment data is handled by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies primarily through Google Analytics to understand visitor behavior in aggregate. We do not use cookies to track you personally across other websites. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function as intended.
